Jazz ClinicsNext Event: TBA music audition steps
Online registration is now closed. You are still able to register in person when you arrive on campus. The in-person registration fee will be $30. Thank you for your interest in Southeastern University. Southeastern's Department of Music invites middle and high school students to Southeastern for jazz clinics led by saxophonist and jazz educator Jamey Aebersold. The visit event includes: • Jazz clinics • Tickets for students and parent(s) or sponsor(s) to attend evening jazz concert • Auditions for performing arts scholarships (available by appointment to high school seniors or college transfers)
In addition, your experience will allow you to do the following:
• Stay overnight housing in the residence halls • Have meals in the campus restaurant for the student and up to two guests • Receive a free Southeastern T-shirt • Attend information sessions with Admission and Student Financial Services
Space in the jazz clinics is limited so please confirm your attendance early! If you register online at least four days before the scheduled event, the registration fee is only $20.00. Registrations after this date must be made at the door and require a $30.00 fee. You may register online or by phone with a credit card. You also may pay by check or money order by mail. Please make checks and money orders payable to Southeastern University.
The cost to attend the Jazz Clinics includes:
• One night's lodging for you with a Southeastern University student host (Please remember to bring sleeping bag/air mattress and toiletries) • Meals for you and your parent(s) or sponsor(s)
