Steelman Library
Named in honor of William Claud Steelman, a consecrated layman from Mississippi, this facility houses the Mary Stribling Collection, named in honor of Mary Stribling, a former librarian and teacher at the university. The library contains over 100,000 volumes and more than 500 periodicals and journal titles. The library also contains a music collection of CDs and other non-textual media, such as videos, slides, and cassettes, useful for a broad educational experience.
The library is a member of the Tampa Bay Library Consortium and participates in SUNLINE, a regional database that identifies the holdings of eleven member libraries in the Tampa Bay area. Students and faculty are able to access the online public access catalog from their residences and offices, expanding available volumes to more than one million. |
