FACILITIES

Residence Halls

Aventura Hall - houses 264 people: two per room utilizing four-room suites (four rooms with shared living and bath area) and two-room suites (bathroom between two rooms). Three-story structure.

Destino Hall - houses 255 people: two per room utilizing four-room suites (four rooms with shared living and bath area) and two-room suites (bathroom between two rooms). Three-story structure.

Esperanza Hall - houses 260 people: two per room utilizing four-room suites (four rooms with shared living and bath area) and two-room suites (bathroom between two rooms). Three-story structure.

Aventura, Destino, and Esperanza Hall lounges
Aventura Hall lounges are available for receptions, meetings, and other gatherings.

  • Second-floor lounges are available for general use (includes big-screen TV, microwave, sink/counter, and the ability to serve food).
  • Third-floor lounges are suitable as general gathering areas and small Southeastern University-catered receptions.

Bethany Hall - houses 180 people: two per room with shared bath area. Two-story structure.

Bauer Hall - houses 199 people: two per room with shared bath area. Two-story structure.

South Pointe - houses 130 people: four per room with attached bathroom. Two-story structure. Apartment-style housing.

Valencia - houses 130 people: four per room with attached bathroom. Two-story structure. Apartment-style housing.

Classrooms
Classrooms are available for use as meeting rooms, seminar sessions, and instructional settings. The capacity of each room varies from 20 to 100 people, with most classrooms having overhead projection capability.

POLICIES

Deposit, Payment, and Taxes
There is a 20% non-refundable deposit (5% with the returned contract finalizes the lease agreement and reserves the facilities, with the remainder of the deposit due three months prior to the scheduled event). The balance of payment is due when the completion of services is rendered. Seven percent (7%) state sales tax is applicable to all for-profit organizations on all charges. Non-profit organizations must submit a current tax exempt letter to avoid state sales tax charges.

Insurance
Groups involving children and teenagers must provide adequate adult supervision. In addition to the expected adult supervision that will work on behalf of the rental organization, groups with children or teenagers must provide to Southeastern University Conference Services staff one adult worker per 200 students to assist in event crowd control and directing pedestrian traffic for up to ten hours each day. If the group is not able to provide this adult assistance, Southeastern will hire additional monitors at a cost to the rental organization of $100 per day.

Conduct and Dress
Southeastern University is a Christian university; therefore, all groups using the campus and its facilities should maintain standards of conduct and dress in keeping with Christian standards. No alcoholic beverages, smoking, or illegal drugs will be allowed on campus at any time.

Care of Facilities
Groups are responsible for damage to the facilities or the loss of equipment or furnishings. University personnel will inspect the condition of the facilities at the close of an event. Groups will be charged for repair or replacement costs. Daily room inspection will be required for rooms with children or teenagers.
