Information For Employers

The Career Center is committed to assist your organization in locating the most qualified Southeastern University candidates to fill your available position(s). Whether your goal is to hire an intern, temporary, volunteer, part- or full-time professional, we can help. Please take a few moments to review our services and feel free to contact us for further assistance.

Temporary, Volunteer, Part-Time, & Full-Time Employment
If you are interested in hiring a Southeastern student for temporary, volunteer, part-time or full-time employment, we would be happy to place your vacancy announcement(s) on our Web site, campus job board, and inside our campus notebooks (located in the Career Center). You may send vacancy announcements by completing the standardized form online, or you may send a job description via fax to (863) 667-5200 or via e-mail to careers@seuniversity.edu.

Resource Library
If you would like to send brochures, videos, CD ROMs, or other information about your organization, please mail your resources to the Career Center, and it will be placed in our resource library for student research.

Career Fairs/Expos
The Center's career fairs and expos give you an opportunity to discuss job openings in your organization with many candidates in one day. Please contact our office immediately if you would like to attend a career fair or expo during the school year.

Candidate Resume Referral
This service gives you the option of reviewing Southeastern student and alumni resumes in the convenience of your own office. Upon request and through the assistance of MonsterTRAK, we will send you the resumes of candidates whose education, skills, and experience match your hiring criteria. The resumes can be forwarded to you via mail or e-mail. Your organization makes direct contact with the candidates.

On-Campus Interviews
Southeastern University campus interviews are encouraged and may be coordinated through the Career Center. Candidate names may be chosen through the candidate resume referral system. Once candidates are chosen, the Center will then arrange appropriate meeting times for you and the student(s).

Internships
Internships are one-semester opportunities offered through businesses and organizations, which allow students to earn academic credit. Internships must be approved by the academic department or college, and they may or may not be paid. Please contact the Career Center if you are interested in obtaining more information.
