Southeastern’s Theatre Arts Camp has two distinct tracks. Our classical theatre track focuses on classical training to prepare actors for success in their chosen field. Our fX track focuses on rhythmic expression based on the musical Stomp. The goal of the theatre camp is to produce well-rounded actors who are trained and prepared for the demands of today’s theatre.

The two tracks:

  • fX track – theatrical percussion style, combining percussion, movement, and visual comedy
  • Classical theatre track- a combination of movement, voice, script analysis, rehearsal, and performance of Hamlet.

Both tracks will culminate in a performance, which will be filmed as a live, video production by the broadcasting camp participants. Theatre Arts Camp participants may earn one hour of elective, college credit or audition for theatre department scholarships. Recreational experiences will include themed activities and dinners and trips to Orlando-area theme parks.
