Accessing Computer Network and Voice Mail

Network log-in instructions: Activating your account on Southeastern's computer network
To activate your student account, browse to https://psync.seuniversity.edu/ and enter your network login ID (username). You will be required to verify your account by answering three personal questions. Once you have answered your personal questions, you will be able to set your new password.
Your login ID will be your first initial, middle initial, and full last name. Example: If your name is Jim Albert Smith, then your login ID will be “jasmith”.

Your e-mail address
Your e-mail address will be your username@seuniversity.edu. Example: If your username(login ID) is "jasmith" then your e-mail address will be jasmith@seuniversity.edu. You can check your e-mail through MySEU's home page. Just click on the brown button icon of the envelope in the upper right of the MySEU home page.

Other online student services can be found under the "Current Student Tools" link located in the left navigation of Southeastern's home page at http://www.seuniversity.edu/.

PHONE NUMBER ASSIGNMENTS

During the residence hall check-in process, please see your resident director to get your assigned phone number. Every room has one phone number with two phone jacks.

ON-CAMPUS VOICE MAIL SETUP INSTRUCTIONS

Every residence hall phone number has two voice mail boxes associated with it. The numbers of the voice mail boxes are the last four digits of your phone number with a 1 or 2 after it. If your number is 667-5555, the two voice mail numbers are 55551 and 55552.

To set up your voice mail
1.) Dial 5158 on your phone to access the voice mail system.
2.) Type in your voice mail box number and press #. Example: If your phone number is 669-4423, then you would enter 44231# or 44232#.
3.) Type in the temporary password 111.
4.) Follow the voice prompts to record your name and message. Then, change your password to at least a five-digit number.
5.) To check your voice mail, repeat steps 1 - 4, but use your new password
