BUSH CHAPEL
Three mornings each week, our community gets a spiritual boost from chapel – a service enlivened by campus choirs and bands, ensemble groups, university musicians, and an interesting range of well-known guest speakers. When university President Dr. Mark Rutland speaks (he speaks at approximately 75% of the chapel services) get there early – or you might not get a seat.
The Bush Chapel is named after Howard S. Bush, a former Superintendent of the South Florida District of the Assemblies of God. He became the president of Southeastern in 1945 and was instrumental in moving the school from Atlanta, Georgia, to its present location in Lakeland, Florida |
