Is Southeastern University accredited?
Yes. Southeastern is accredited through the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, GA 30033-4097; telephone: (404) 679-4501) to award bachelor's and master's degrees.

Where is Southeastern located?
Southeastern is located at 1000 Longfellow Blvd. in Lakeland, Florida, 33801-6034.

What is the school's vision and mission?
Our mission is as follows: “Southeastern, a dynamic, Christ-centered university, fosters student success by integrating personal faith and higher learning. Within our loving Pentecostal community, we challenge students to a lifetime of good work and of preparing professionally so they can creatively serve their generation in the spirit of Christ.”

What graduate programs do you offer?
Southeastern currently offers four graduate programs: Master of Business Administration (campus-based and online), Master of Arts in Ministerial Leadership (campus-based and online), Master of Science in Professional Counseling (campus-based), and Master of Education in Elementary Education (campus-based).

Does Southeastern University accept transfer credit?
Yes. We accept transfer credit from other regionally accredited institutions.

When does each semester start and end?
Fall semester starts in August and ends in December. The spring semester starts in January and ends in May (includes final exams).

Would working full-time hinder me from pursuing a degree online?
Not at all. Southeastern online programs are designed with working professionals in mind.

Which graduate programs do you offer online?
The two graduate programs offered both online and on campus at this time are the Master of Business Administration and the Master of Arts in Ministerial Leadership.

Which graduate programs are not offered online?
The Master of Science in Professional Counseling and the Master of Education in Elementary Education are currently only offered to students who can take classes at our Lakeland, Florida, campus.

Are the Southeastern University online programs really 100% online?
Yes. There is no need for you to come to campus to complete your degree.

Is it hard to take courses online?

Does the online format provide the same quality of education offered through campus-based learning?
Yes. Our online courses are developed and administered by the same faculty who teach our campus-based programs.
