Student Activities

Whether you dig poetics or athletics, bowling or block parties, there’s always an exciting way to fellowship at Southeastern. Our Student Life staff, the Athletics Department and student organizations host over 300 events a year. From luaus to retro-roller-skating, each event offers you an opportunity to make new friends, deepen existing relationships and develop your character.

Here’s a sample of events that students enjoy at Southeastern:

Campus Luau- Residence Life hosts a luau of luaus! Southeastern’s own students from Hawaii lead a traditional luau ceremony complete with a limbo contest. Students also learn Hawaiian dance or watch professional dancers perform with flaming torches.

American Idol- Students perform in a Southeastern version of American Idol where the judges pull no punches.

Masquerade Bowling Night- Students dress up and hit a local bowling alley. The evening features a costume contest.

‘70s Roller-skating -Students dress up in 1970s attire and roller-skate the night away.

Mystery Bus Night -Student Life staff and about 50 students depart on a bus in the evening. The students don’t know where they’re going, but they end up stopping at sensational sites throughout central Florida before returning to campus the next morning.
