It also sponsors parties, particularly during holidays when many MKs can’t visit their families abroad. Ner Tamid This group, whose Hebrew name means "Eternal Light," promotes Jewish culture on campus. Ner Tamid seeks to inform students who want to learn about the Jewish roots of the Christian faith or witness to Jewish people. The club’s activities include celebrating Jewish holidays, hosting speakers and teaching traditional Israeli dance. The Oracle TheOracle, Southeastern University’s literary magazine, is published each spring and includes poetry, prose, artwork, and a CD of music and spoken word selections. The SBLC’s project management team plan, prepare, and carry out weekly and monthly student activities on campus. SGA holds monthly senate meetings to discuss SGA business and hear reports from campus clubs and organizations. Twice each semester, the SGA holds “town hall” meetings in which students can ask questions of the university’s administrators. Work of the SGA has led to changes in the student dress code and the extension of curfew.
