ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF STUDENT HOUSING
The Assistant Director of Student Housing reports to the Director of Housing and Conference Services. Bachelor’s degree required. One to three years experience in the field of higher education with exposure to the field of student housing, campus facility management, and/or student development is desired. Individual will assist the Director in administering all aspects of student housing to include housing application process for current and incoming residents, check-in, room assignment changes, dorm maintenance reporting and tracking, damage reporting and tracking, and check-out. Position oversees all daily residence, housing tasks.
CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE- PART-TIME (32 HRS/WK)
The Customer Service Representative works within Southeastern Central. Position is responsible for providing quality customer service to customers by: providing level-one information to customers which includes basic financial aid, student account, housing and admission data; transferring (handing off) calls to appropriate person or department and following up to ensure calls are returned; directing customer to information on the university website. Hours include days, nights and some Saturdays. Applicant must be flexible. Individual must possess strong customer service skills and a willingness to serve.
HOUSEKEEPER
The Housekeeper reports to the Custodial Supervisor. Position is full-time working first shift, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. High school diploma is required. General housekeeping experience is needed. Excellent benefit package.
HOUSEKEEPER FLOATER
The Housekeeper Floater reports to the Custodial Supervisor. Position is full time and will cover for coworkers when they are off. Hours may vary and individual will need to be flexible. High school diploma is required. General housekeeping experience is needed. Excellent benefit package.
INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGNER
The Instructional Designer reports to the Director of Online Learning. The Instructional Designer consults, trains, and serves as a resource person to the faculty, deans, department chairs in design, development, evaluation and revision of courses, learning activities, learning assessments and online curriculum support; assists in faculty development on instructional applications of technologies and instructional methods; facilitates the implementation of engaging instructional innovations; provides support for software applications used in online course development; coordinates ongoing communications with staff and academic services that support online learning processes.
Criteria:
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design and/or applied experience in instructional design and development, with background in online learning and instruction, program development, and assessment. Any combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge and abilities will be considered. Prefer Master's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 2+ year's experience designing and developing online course content.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, especially written and oral communications.
- Proven ability to work effectively with faculty and other subject-matter experts during course development.
- Experience in developing instructional objectives and learning outcome assessments.
- Experience using eLearning software such as Flash, Dreamweaver, Captivate, Photoshop, Camtasia, and synchronous LMS tools. Advanced proficiency with Blackboard and Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated ability to work on multiple, complex projects; strong project management and follow-up skills; strong ability to multi-task and continually prioritize changing project tasks and deliverables.
- Experience collecting and editing graphics, and building all graphic layout and navigation in an instructionally sound and highly interactive format. Experience in testing and debugging eLearning modules for quality assurance of the course.
MAINTENANCE MECHANIC I
The Maintenance Mechanic I reports to the Assistant Director of Facilities. Applicant must be a high school graduate with general maintenance experience. Work hours are Monday-Friday, 2:30 -11:00 pm.
RECEPTIONIST/SWITCHBOARD OPERATOR (PART-TIME)
The Receptionist/Switchboard Operator works within Southeastern Central under the Enrollment Management Department. Position is part-time working Saturdays 9:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. and occasional evenings from 4:30-7:00 p.m. Responsibilities include operating a centralized telephone switchboard system and serving as receptionist. This individual also greets visitors to the university and directs them to appropriate locations. Individual must be a high school graduate with excellent written and oral communication skills, knowledge of general office duties and protocol, computer skills, and ability to work with and maintain positive relationships with others.
SECURITY OFFICER – PART TIME
The Security Officer reports to the Safety & Security Shift Supervisor. A part-time officer is needed for 2nd shift. Applicant must be a high school graduate with Security Class D license preferred.
