Candidates must have at least a Master’s and/or a minimum of 18 hours in English at a graduate level. ASSISTANT or ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR of BUSINESS
College of Business and Legal Studies

Southeastern University invites applications and nominations for an assistant or associate professor qualified to teach in one of the following fields: management, accounting, economics, or decision sciences. The position is full-time for a ten-month academic year beginning August of 2009 contingent on funding. Salary is commensurate with experience and degree held at the time of appointment. A Ph.D. or D.B.A in a major business field is required, but ABDs near completion of their dissertation will be considered. Preference is given to applicants with teaching experience, significant professional experience and/or a track record of published scholarship.

The professor reports to the Dean and ultimately to the Vice President for Academic Affairs. Teaching responsibilities include upper level undergraduate and graduate courses. The normal teaching load is 12 hours per semester. Other duties require service on committees as assigned by the Dean, student advising, and supportive activities. A reduced teaching load may be granted to business faculty members for research efforts that lead to an intellectual contribution to their discipline.

DIRECTOR OF STUDENT WORSHIP, CONTEMPORARY ENSEMBLES AND UNIVERSITY TOUR TEAMS
The Director reports to the Chair of the Music Department. Master’s degree from a regionally accredited university or college in relevant discipline is required. The Director is over the Student Worship Department and responsible for the preparation and coordination of all student led worship in the campus chapel; instructor of Southeastern Singers and contemporary music ensembles. As overseer of the university tour teams, the Director is responsible for promotion, scheduling, rehearsing, preparation and logistics of all university music tours. Other responsibilities include direct oversight of resources allocated for his/her department to include maintenance of music and production equipment. Position holds faculty status with limited teaching responsibilities.
