You have a heart for God, served where He’s planted you, and now you're ready for the next level of ministry and leadership.
Need sound strategy to help your church, school, or non-profit grow? Why not learn from the General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God, the Pentecostal denomination of more than 55 million worldwide?
Want to sharpen your theological knowledge—for sermons, for your intellectual and academic development? Why not learn from the second president of Gordon-Conwell, one of the nation’s finest seminaries?
Want to better communicate the Gospel in our increasingly secular—and pluralistic—world? Gain insight from the foremost evangelical scholar in Eastern Europe, an authority on Christian ministry in post-Communist contexts.
As a student in the executive track of the 36-credit-hour Master of Arts in Ministerial Leadership program, you will learn from world-class authorities in their fields who will help you—and your ministry—grow. They’ll teach you how to assess and improve growth within your ministry and better communicate how the truth of Scripture applies to the lives of the people you lead. In addition, you’ll learn how to manage change and conflict within your organization. Upon graduation, you’ll gain the critical thinking and research skills to not only conduct research, but apply the knowledge to challenge your church, school, or non-profit.
Here’s how our yearlong, executive program works: Once a month, from a Monday afternoon until noon on Friday, you and other executive program students—pastors, missionaries, and other Christian leaders—will attend class at our Lakeland, Florida, campus. From January—the start of the program—until mid-September, you will cover a new course each month, from Methods of Biblical Preaching to Foundations for Cross-Cultural Ministry. One of your classes will be based around Southeastern's annual National Leadership Forum, which in past years has brought Gen. Colin L. Powell, USA (Ret.), Indianapolis Colts football coach Tony Dungy, and prominent author Ken Blanchard to campus to discuss servant leadership. Between executive program class meetings, you will read and complete projects related to the courses. By the end of September, you will have completed ten classes and be ready to research, develop, and write a thesis, or complete a project that will help your organization reach a ministry goal.
If you want your ministry to rise to the next level, join other men and women of God in our M.A. in Ministerial Leadership executive track. Our program is Pentecostal—we believe in the gifts of the Spirit that will bring revival to you and your organization. You will join a community of fellow pastors and Christian leaders who can connect you with resources that will help your ministry mature and grow. You would learn from world-class evangelical Christian leaders and scholars—experts in evangelism, missions, church growth, and administration. They will equip you with knowledge and tools that will help you immediately impact those you serve.
