Southeastern Aid Programs

National Merit Academic Scholarships:

National Merit Scholars Award = $3,000 divided over first two semesters;
may be received for up to eight consecutive semesters;
full-time enrollment required
National Hispanic Scholars
National Achievement Scholars

Qualifying students must be named as a finalist in any of the programs listed above. Scholarships are renewable by maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.600 or higher.

Southeastern Academic Scholarships:

Southeastern University Honors Program
  • If you qualify for the Regent's Scholars, you can apply to the Honors Program.
  • Acceptance is determined after completion of the application and fulfillment of the application requirements (limited to first-time freshmen).
  • May qualify for up to eight semesters
  • (Online students are ineligible for this scholarship.)
$8,000 ($2,000 for Honors Program, $6,000 for Regent's Scholars, divided over first two semesters)
Regent's Scholars*
  • First-time freshmen
  • Score of 12 points or more on Southeastern's point system for academic scholarships
  • Renewable by maintaining a cumulative GPA of at least 3.6
  • May be received for up to eight consecutive semesters
  • Full-time enrollment at Southeastern required
  • (Online students are ineligible for this scholarship.)
$6,000 (divided over first two semesters)
President's
Scholars*

 

  • First-time freshmen
  • Score of 11 points on Southeastern's point system for academic scholarships
  • Renewable by maintaining a cumulative GPA of at least 3.6
  • May be received for up to eight consecutive semesters

Scholars*

  • Score of 9 to 10 points on Southeastern's point system for academic scholarships

Point System for Academic Scholarships:
To determine academic scholarship eligibility, combine your total points from the GPA chart and your single highest score on either the ACT or SAT chart. The deadline for academic scholarship eligibility is July 1 for the fall semester and December 1 for the spring semester. Test scores and GPA must be submitted by July 1 for the fall semester and December 1 for the spring semester.

Other Scholarships

Missionary Dependent Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to dependent children of appointed Assemblies of God foreign and national home missionaries, who itinerate for their support and serve on a full-time basis. (Dependent is defined as dependent student ”for federal financial aid purposes.) Full-time enrollment is required. The award covers 25% of tuition charges. (Click Here) for application.

Family Discount
Parents, children, spouses or siblings who are immediate family members enrolled in the same semester are eligible for this discount. Children or siblings must be a dependent from the same immediate family. (Dependent is defines as “dependent student” for federal financial aid purposes.) Full-time enrollment is required for all students to be eligible. The award covers 10% of tuition charges for the siblings or spouses with the highest need. Discounted programs including, but not limited to, the Forum, Evening/Weekend, Online, and Academy are not eligible for this discount. (Click Here) for application.

Scholarships for Homeschooled Students:
