Key Alternative Loan
The Key Alternative Loan was created by Key Education Resources to help students manage the cost of a four-year college education.
The loan is made in the student's name, usually with a co-signer. No payments are required while the student attends college full-time and during the six-month grace period; interest capitalizes annually during this time. Financial aid applications are not required. A student may borrow up to the cost of attendance for undergraduate years one through five. The minimum loan amount is $500 and the aggregate limit is $100,000.
