HIGH SCHOOL: Played her freshman, sophomore, and junior year at Carroll High School…Did not play her senior season...Also, participated in swimming and track in high school.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Doug and Joann Short…Has been on a missions trip to the Dominican Republic and helped with hurricane relief in Biloxi, Miss., after Hurricane Katrina…Also, served her church as a leader with 5th and 6th grade youth...Majoring in public relations.
