HEAD COACH: TERRY THOMAS

In Fall 2008, Coach Terry Thomas will be entering his third season as the Southeastern University women's volleyball coach. Coach Thomas has over 34 years of coaching experience, with 11 years coaching high school volleyball and 23 years coaching college.

Coach Thomas helped guide the Lady Fire to an NCCAA II National Tournament berth in 2007.

Southeastern finished third nationally in 2007, a placement which tied a school record set back in 2005.

Thomas is an energetic coach who will look to leave his mark on an already very successful program. He believes that “coaching has grown from a skill-based focus to a team-building emphasis.”

Coach Thomas has coached at Blue Mountain Community College, Concordia College, and Warner Pacific College, where he was a part of winning two NCCAA Division I national championships.

While Coach Thomas will challenge athletes to become better athletes on the court, his passion for the Lord makes him a perfect fit for Southeastern University. Thomas cares much more about his players' relationships with God than anything they will achieve on the volleyball court.

Coach Thomas was living in Hood River, Oregon, before coming to Southeastern.
