#7 CRYSTAL JOHNSON

At Southeastern: In 2007, scored two goals and added six assists to finish the season with 10 points overall...In 2006, was second on the team in scoring with six goals and five assists to finish with 17 points on the year...Scored two goals in the 2006 NCCAA II National Tournament...Played in 23 games as a freshman in 2005, scoring two goals and adding seven assists.

 

High School: Played midfield and forward positions at Auburndale High School and for the Auburndale Scream...Coached by Aaron Martinez...Made Senior All-Star game in 2005.

Personal: Johnson is majoring in psychology.

#10 MELISSA KENNEDY

At Southeastern: In 2007, led the Lady Fire with 22 goals...Added 10 assists to finish the year with 54 points which is second all-time for single season scoring...Named a 2007 NCCAA II First Team All-American...Named First Team All-Region...Led the Lady Fire in scoring in 2006 with nine goals and seven assists for 25 points on the year...Named First Team All-Region...Recorded a hat trick on October 14th versus Ave Maria University.

High School: Was a starter on the varsity team for four years...Was recognized with Most Valuable Offensive Player honors four years in a row and was three-time recipient of All-County Player Award...Senior year, was named to the All-Star team.

Personal: Chose SEU because of its spiritual environment. She states, “I am very excited to grow not only as an athlete but spiritually as well.”

At Southeastern: Was named a 2007 NCCAA II First Team All-American for the third straight season...Named to the 2007 NCCAA II National Tournament's All-Tournament team...Named First Team All-Region...Major contributor for the Lady Fire defense that was second in the nation with a 0.71 goals against average...In 2006, Named a First Team All-American for the second straight year...Also, named to the 2006 NCCAA II National All-Tournament Team...Named First Team All-Region in 2006...Became first freshman in Southeastern women’s soccer history to be named First Team All-American...Also named First Team All-Region in 2005 as she started every game for the Lady Fire.

High School: Played defense, mid-field, and sweeper under Head Coach Chris Farrar...District Champions and regional runners-up in 2004...State Final Four in 2005...Most Improved Player for junior season...GJHS female nominee for the Florida High School Athletic Association Scholarship... Also, played club soccer with the Bartow Sting, Lakeland Lazers, and the Lakeland Shockers.
