Stross, Lady Fire Look To Build On Solid 2009 Showing

In just its first full season in the NAIA's Sun Conference, last year, the Lady Fire soccer team
went 4-5 in conference play and 16-6 overall.

The Lady Fire returns six starters from last year's team that finished No. 2 in the nation
for NCCAA D-II. The 2009 season marked the final year the Lady Fire was able to
compete in the NCCAA D-II, since Southeastern will now be giving athletic scholarships for the first time
in school history.

Head Coach Dominic Stross compiled a 38-1-2 record within the NCCAA D-II's South
Region the past five years, culminating in five consecutive national top-five finishes.

Southeastern opens its 2010 season at Clearwater Christian on August 27th.
