Stacey Begins Seventh Season With Fire

Coach Drew Stacey enters his seventh season as the men's soccer coach at Southeastern University.

Last year, Southeastern's final season within the NCCAA D-II, Coach Stacey led Southeastern to the 2009 NCCAA D-II National Championship game, where the Fire lost a heartbreaker, 2-1, in overtime.

The Fire ended its season with an 11-12 overall record, and the team's second place finish in 2009 gives the Fire four straight top-five finishes within the NCCAA D-II.

Coach Stacey has compiled an 84-44-5 record at Southeastern with four South Region Championships and, back in 2006, the school's only soccer national championship. He has also guided the Fire to three NCCAA D-II National Championship games.
