The Fire had a terrific 2008-2009 season, winning two tournaments as the team prepares to join the Sun Conference next season.

Southeastern won the 2008 Fire Classic by 19 shots, finishing the tournament with a
two-day total of 576. The Fire also won the 9th Annual Chick-fil-A Collegiate
Invitational, held in Rome, Ga., by one shot over NAIA powerhouse Berry College.

Senior Matt Parziale had eight top-ten finishes and four top-five finishes this year.

Freshman Drew Mathews took second place in the 9th Annual Chick-fil-A Collegiate, while sophomore Chris Burke took third place in the 20th Annual Eagle Invitational in the spring.

The Fire will return four players next year and is expected to have an outstanding recruiting class for the 2009-2010 season.
