Study Abroad
Our students also can apply to study for a semester in Australia, China, Uganda, Russia, the Middle East, Latin America, or at Oxford University in the UK, through the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities (CCCU). Southeastern students also can apply to study politics or journalism in Washington D.C., film studies in Los Angeles, or contemporary music on Martha's Vineyard in Massachusetts through the CCCU (www.bestsemester.com). These programs enrich students by exposing them to experiences and cultures outside the classroom. Southeastern students may study abroad during the second-semester of their sophomore year, their junior year, or their senior year.
Other study abroad program opportunities are available through the American Institute for Foreign Study (www.aifsabroad.com), Cultural Experiences Abroad (www.gowithcea.com), and Academic Programs International (www.academicintl.com). For more information about how Southeastern students can study abroad or participate in a study program in another part of the U.S., please contact the Office of Academic Affairs at (863) 667-5074. You also can read more about study programs sponsored through the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities in Southeastern’s academic catalog.
