Study Abroad

Scuba dive among schools of silver-blue fish and giant clams off the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. See the original of the "Mona Lisa" close up. Experience how people in other countries worship God. These are experiences that you can enjoy through study abroad programs arranged by Southeastern and organizations we partner with.

Southeastern students have traveled and studied for a semester or a summer in Australia and New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Europe, and the Netherlands. New Southeastern-arranged summer trips are planned for the Dominican Republic and France. Our students also can apply to study for a semester in China, Uganda, Russia, the Middle East, Latin America, or at Oxford University in the UK, through the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU). Southeastern students also can apply to study politics or journalism in Washington D.C., film studies in Los Angeles, or contemporary music on Martha's Vineyard in Massachusetts through the CCCU.

Students interested in studying in other countries can participate in more than a dozen programs run by the American Institute for Foreign Study (AIFS) or another accredited organization or university. For more information about how Southeastern students can study abroad or participate in a study program in another part of the U.S. call the office of the Associate Academic Dean at (863) 667-5074.
