Biography
Beth Yue serves as Assistant Professor of Music in the Department of Music. Yue received her master's of music in violin performance and Suzuki pedagogy from the Cleveland Institute of Music where she studied with Paul Kantor, Jeffrey Irvine, and Kimberly Meier-Sims. She holds a bachelor's of music in performance from Arizona State University; she was a student of Katie McLin. Yue has performed across the United States and Europe. She has performed in the Associazione Amici Della Musica di Gressoney Concert Series at Il salone d’Onore del Castello Savoia di Gressoney Saint Jean in Valle d’Aosta, Italy. Yue also has participated in music festivals, including the Aspen Music Festival, the MasterWorks Festival, the Zephyr International Chamber Music Course and Festival, the Interlochen Arts Camp, the Western Michigan University summer chamber orchestra, the Pine Mountain Music Festival, and The Juilliard School Starling-DeLay Symposium on Violin Studies.

Yue has received long-term Suzuki training from the Cleveland Institute of Music and is a registered teacher for books 1-10. She has taught students at the Cleveland Institute of Music Preparatory Department, Case Western Reserve University (Ohio), Cleveland School of the Arts, Fairmount School of Music (Ohio), Bolton Elementary School, and Csehy Summer School of Music at Philadelphia Biblical University. Yue joined the faculty of Southeastern University in 2005.
