Biography
Joshua Hill taught composition and literature classes at Texas A&M University and Blinn College before moving to Southeastern. He also has been on staff with the Navigators, a para-church ministry, and sees his teaching career as an opportunity to explore composition and literature while strengthening and ministering to younger Christians. Hill, a restless innovator with his classes, has presented a paper to the Southeastern faculty on Christian community in the classroom and has created several educational games. He also moderated the last plenary session at the 2006 CCCU New Faculty Workshop and compiled and edited that conference's proceedings.

Hill teaches the following classes: Composition I & II, Introduction to Literature, and Advanced Grammar. His research interests are in puritan and other Christian literatures, ethics in rhetoric, the rhetoric of community, the integration of faith and learning/teaching, church planting, and literary theory.
