Biography
Dr. Gordon Miller has served Southeastern as a teacher, an administrator, a missionary, and an artist, among other roles. Before coming to Southeastern, he taught multiple subjects on the middle and secondary school levels in Tennessee and Georgia. He also served Mount Paran Church of God in Atlanta as the Director of Children’s Ministries, overseeing over one thousand children, and as the Assistant Principal of the Mount Paran Christian School. In Florida, he has worked as Headmaster of Pine Castle Christian Academy and Victory Christian Academy, both in Orlando.

Prior to his assuming his current position as Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, Dr. Miller was Vice President and Executive Assistant to the President at Southeastern. In addition, he has been the Missions Coordinator for Global Servants, Inc., traveling extensively in Ghana, India, and Thailand. He has also led a student missions team to Ghana, West Africa, and two teams to Australia/New Zealand for Southeastern’s Summer Down Under study abroad program. He has served as the Chaplain of the men’s soccer team and has been actively involved in numerous student and campus projects and activities.

In addition to his formal degrees, Dr. Miller studied theater and performing arts at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, West, in Pasadena, California, and has been involved in numerous theatrical presentations at Southeastern. He has also performed with the Lee University Singers, the Fellowship Singers of Orlando, and the Studio Theatre Company of Orlando, and he currently performs with the Caroling Company of Orlando.

With Dr. Mark Rutland and Dr. Reinhard Bonnke, Dr. Miller has co-authored an evangelism study program, offered exclusively through the evangelistic ministry of Reinhard Bonnke and in conjunction with Southeastern University.

Dr. Miller teaches Classroom Management for secondary education majors and has taught Teaching English, Teaching Social Studies, and Teaching Science (all for secondary education majors) and Missionary Life and Work.
