Biography
Dr. Harrison brings to Southeastern University both nine years of experience in the grocery industry and nine years in the legal profession. Over eight years, he also taught a variety of business courses at High Point University and Guilford Technical Community College. Dr. Harrison has won several teaching awards at GTCC.

Dr. Harrison strives to create a learning environment that is creatively engaging, using assignments designed to promote discussion and teamwork and illustrating concepts with key current and historical examples. He believes that learning can be fun and builds learning games such as Jeopardy into the curriculum. At the same time, Dr. Harrison believes that his drawing out of the ethical and financial principles of the Bible is a valid and much-needed training for future business leaders.

Dr. Harrison has taught the following classes at Southeastern: Principles of Finance, Investments, Corporate Finance, Advanced Corporate Finance, Quantitative Methods, Introduction to Computers, Principles of Accounting, Financial Institutions, and Operations Management. He is especially interested in bankruptcy prediction models.
