Biography
Linda Bowlin is the cornerstone of the criminal justice major at Southeastern, having designed and developed the major. She is also focusing her PhD work, through Northcentral University, on criminal justice, determined to give her students here the information they need to make informed decisions about their futures in the field.

Bowlin also has several years of experience managing a retail business and has administered grants from US West for small business development. This business experience and her academic training make her a valuable resource for Southeastern business students. Bowlin has also served Southeastern in many other capacities, including assistant coach for the women’s basketball team, coordinator for Constitution Day activities, and university representative for the Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship and the Carroll Scholarship.

Bowlin teaches Introduction to Criminal Justice, Juvenile Delinquency, Correction and Punishment, Criminological Theory, Introduction to Sociology, and Business Communication. Her primary area of interest and writing is juvenile delinquency.
