Biography
Dr. Gordon Storholm has several years of experience in marketing management at IBM and Xerox Corporations and was the General Manager of the Jersey Devils Hockey Club when it was a minor league team. He has also done extensive consulting in the sales and franchising fields. Dr. Storholm has taught at Vanguard, Penn State, Rutgers, Fordham, and St. John’s universities, founding the Direct Marketing Institute at Fordham University. He also served in the U.S. Marine Corps as a platoon leader.

Dr. Storholm has authored two textbooks in sales management along with monographs in the telemarketing and labor economics fields. He has published in several journals, including the Journal of Business Ethics, the Journal of Channels of Distribution, the Journal of Franchising, and the Journal of Direct Marketing. Dr. Storholm teaches marketing courses on a practitioner level, often similar to industrial seminars, which he feels are extremely effective. His classes reflect the Christian worldview, an integration of faith and practice that takes top priority in his teaching, especially at the university level.

Dr. Storholm teaches marketing courses for Southeastern and has research interests in franchising, sales force management, and direct marketing.
