Biography
Dr. Childs was born and raised in California and previously was the chair of the business management program at Bethany University in Scotts Valley, California. He also has held executive positions in the satellite telecommunications industry and other technology-oriented start-ups. He maintains an active marketing communications consulting practice and has worked on accounts for Amgen, Cisco Systems, Hewlett-Packard, Sun Microsystems, Apple, and VMware. From 1990 to 1993 he worked with non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and governments as a consultant in the the former Soviet Union, Romania, Hungary, and Poland as they transitioned to market economies. Dr. Child's research areas include the impact of sleep deprivation on human productivity and the integration of faith and business.
