Master of Arts Ministerial Leadership

College of Christian Ministries & Religion | campus-based program | online program

EQUIPPING FOR 21st CENTURY MINISTRY
More often than we’d like to admit, our churches resemble the disciples before they received the Holy Spirit in the book of Acts. Yes, they were called to be Christ’s witnesses in Jerusalem and throughout the earth, but it wasn’t until they received the Holy Spirit that they were 1.) personally changed and 2.) empowered to communicate the gospel to a large cross-section of people. Southeastern’s online and campus-based Master of Arts in Ministerial Leadership programs are designed to improve your local ministry in a similar two-fold process. We want to 1.) help you grow as a Christ follower and 2.) equip you with tools to make your church more fruitful for the Kingdom.

Whether you enroll in Southeastern’s online or campus-based program, you will take 36 hours’ worth of classes that will give you strategies to sharpen your character and give you the theological, biblical, and practical knowledge to improve your local ministry. Our veteran professors will help you navigate the personal challenges in Christian leadership, such as balancing the need to exude confidence while being humble, or the need to be open and honest while practicing shrewd judgment. And in regard to your church ministry, we’ll give you methods to meet the diverse needs of a congregation in the 21st century.

“With an emphasis on practical ministry, springing from a burden to equip and empower harvesters for this time, the all new Southeastern University (master of arts) degree in ministerial leadership is already impacting the church and the world. Leadership is the operative word – professional, anointed leadership for an age in need.”
