Graduate Programs
A statue of Jesus washing the feet of his disciple Peter stands in the center of the campus of Southeastern University. It represents our belief in servant leadership. As a Christian professional, you probably share that value too, whether you work in corporate America or at a public high school. At Southeastern, we want to help you continue your practice of Christian service...to a higher degree.
A graduate education at Southeastern will help you continue servant leadership in a variety of fields. We offer graduate programs in business administration, ministerial leadership, education, and counseling.
Our programs offer you flexibility in completing your degree, to help you balance school with your commitments at home and at work. You can choose from campus-based and online programs that take a year to 17 months to complete. Our campus-based programs meet on weekday nights and enable working professionals to earn degrees without taking time off work. Our online programs are designed for those who live beyond commuting distance from our Lakeland, Florida, campus. These programs allow you to complete graduate work-from reading assignments to capstone projects-during hours that are most convenient for you.
All of our graduate programs will equip you to serve professionally in the twenty-first century. Courses are taught by professors who are veterans in their fields: our ministry professors have led large churches and ministries in the U.S. and abroad; a Florida Teacher of the Year heads our College of Education; and our business professors have had successful corporate and entrepreneurial careers. Most importantly, our professors share your faith in Christ and will equip you to become a more skillful servant in the field He called you to practice.
In addition to valuable instruction, at Southeastern you will receive a Christ-centered education. Our professors integrate sound Biblical principles into the subjects they teach and will encourage your Christian walk in the professional sphere. Moreover, our professors and your classmates will form a supportive, Christian community where you can share ideas and talk freely about serving God in your profession.
