Hymn arrangements will not be accepted). There is a ten-minute audition limit. Applicants must be high school seniors or transfer students.
Registration will be held from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. on Friday, February 1 in the Pansler Alumni-Student Union lobby. Students will check in and receive schedules, audition times, class visit schedules, and other important items. A continental breakfast will be available at this time. Afterwards, students can attend a faculty panel discussion, visit classes, attend Admission, Financial Aid and Student Life information sessions, and have lunch in the campus restaurant (Tuscana Ristorante).
In the afternoon, students will have the chance to warm up for the competition, have dinner in the campus restaurant, and attend the homecoming basketball game that evening at 8:00 p.m. Students may stay overnight in the residence halls that night. (Note: Remember to bring toiletries, a pillow, and a sleeping bag.)
On Saturday, students will eat breakfast, then audition. Students are free to warm up in the practice rooms while they are waiting for their designated audition time. After the auditions, a final lunch session with the music faculty will complete the scheduled activities.
